Tanabata-Obon 2023 Brattleboro

Asian Cultural Center of Vermont (ACCVT accvt.org) presents Tanabata-Obon during August Gallery Walk in Brattleboro.

* Join us to celebrate two Japanese summer festivals: Tanabata, the star festival of Japan & Obon, a remembrance of ancestors. 

* Location: At Pliny Park, on the corner of High and Main Sts. in Brattleboro, VT. 

* Time: 5-7pm Friday August 4th 2023

* Experience the Table of Remembrance for OBON and honor the spirits of our ancestors and loved ones.

* Celebrate TANABATA, the 7th day of the 7th month when communities gather to make wishes for the future. 

* Bake Sale and Japanese Tea

* Donations welcome and go towards event expenses.
