Sandglass Theater is presenting:
Chinese Theater Works from NYC
Two shows: Saturday February 27th 11am and 2pm

Winter Sunshine Series in February! This performance is a celebration of the Lunar New Year with an original budaixi (glove puppet) production featuring the twelve animals of the Chinese Zodiac.

This year’s show stars the Horse, who presides over a lively selection of puppet skits, dances, popular songs, and well-known Chinese sayings that celebrate the wit and wisdom of the zodiac animals. To ensure the bilingual cultural experience is accessible to even our youngest audience members, we also include a hands-on post-show demonstration.
